For use within food industries Pentronic manufactures temperature sensors with approval according to the EHEDG - European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group. This is stated on each pdf-datasheet when applicable. See section Hygienic sensors.

3A - American sanitary standards
|
|
A number of Pentronic's thermowells have been approved by the American Standard "3-A Sanitary Standards 74-03, sensors and sensor fittings and connections".
The approval applies to the implementation of weld-in as well as triclamp (TC) sensor fittings. Where appropriate the symbol of the 3-A approval will be shown in our datasheets.

Three of P entronic's different design solutions have been approved. They are: Weld-in bushings for metal-to-metal sealing, weld-in thermowells and tri-clamp connection (TC). Where applicable the pdf-datasheets will inform you about the approval in question.

These three design solutions
are now approved for hygienic applications in Russia.

Classified temperature sensors for marine use
