Temperature sensors
Platinum resistance thermometers (Pt100/Pt1000) and thermocouples are the kind of sensors that usually are demanded. We have many sensor models that are available for immediate delivery and suitable for many applications.
Naturally there is a range of sensors tailored for special demands and our skilled technicians and competent workshop with great capability are always prepared to help you with sensor constructions that suit your requirements you work as OEM, in a process industry or in a development laboratory.
Beside thermocouples and Pt100-sensors non-contact measurement with IR-pyrometers can be an attractive alternative. Non-contact measurements is preferred when measuring on moving or live electric objects or very high temperatures.
Signal connections
A wide selection of cables, connectors, panels and other accessories easing correct connection of sensors are available by Pentronic. Correct connections are important to make measurement chains work properly.
Process connectons
Proper and correct connection to the object - process - is made easier by using our selection of protection tubes, flexible hoses, thermowells, fittings as well as flanges of different kinds. Correctly dimensioned connections are important to the quality of the measurement.
Instrumentation
To complete the sensor signal it has to be conditioned before monitoring. Pentronic supplies signal conditioners, indicators, controllers, loggers and handheld thermometers.
Moreover we offer calibration equipments and flowmeters as well as moisture- and thickness monitors.
Environmental aspects
RoHS directive
Since July 1 2006 electric and electronic equipments, which are brought into the EU market and are included in the RoHS directive, must not contain any substances harmful to the environment such as lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium (Cr6+), PBB or PBDE. Measuring products sold by Pentronic normally are excluded. Repairs and spare parts that are brought into the market before July 1 2006 are not included.
Pentronic's aim is to minimize the occurrance of harmful substances. The RoHS directive is fulfilled for products like cables, Pentronic-produced temperature sensors as well as electronics. Imported products are continuously replaced by RoHS suited ones as fast as such products are available.

Pentronic AB does neither manufacture nor import chemical substances. Pentronic AB is well aware of:
